Talking AI with MediaPost

I'm a big believer in staying in touch with former colleagues and managers. So it was especially fun to record an interview with someone I've known since I was fresh out of college, working my first job as a copy editor at Ad Age.

Editing the words of a veteran reporter (as Joe Mandese was) was absolutely terrifying to this 22-year-old.

But I'm glad he didn't take it too personally, and that when I reached out a few months ago to meet up when I was in New York, he gladly said yes. After Ad Age, Joe went on to become editor in chief of MediaPost, a true bible of the industry, and he's still there today, writing every day.
