Will Apple bring AI to the masses?

I predict there will be more than a few hitches, stops and starts, but Apple Intelligence will likely cause a big uptick in the number of people using AI. And they may not even know they're using it.

Major tech platforms have a unique ability to integrate new tech and user interfaces as they see fit and then force changes in consumer behavior. Remember when Facebook changed its UI and introduced the News Feed? No one liked it, everyone complained -- and then the news feed ended up becoming the de facto way we see content in social media.
